  1. My goal in my first few chapters was to slow it down and show you guys where each main family arc is now and what they’ve been doing while planting seeds of storylines to come. I hope I did that well enough by stretching the chapters out and including believable family conversations (if we could all gentle parent without throwing toys outside and threatening to cancel all the plans while crying in the corner). I didn’t want you to get several chapters in and say, ‘Who the hell is this kid?’ Or asking what they’ve been doing all this time. Although I introduced a load of kids, so you may still ask who all these kids are and who they belong to.
